Filming

Project: Journey
Film name: Journey of a Cheesecake
Filming day: 16th October 2012
Time: 1pm onwards
Location: Supermarket car park and I will be going round Tessa's house for the cake preparation and filming process.

We have decided to create a logo on Illustrator to display at the beginning of the film. This is the procedure:

Step 1: First of all we looked on the internet for a cake image we liked. Then we traced around the image to create this

Step 2: Next we filled in colour to the cherry

Step 3:Our next idea was to add writing to the cake so that it explains it well.

Step 4: We both agreed that we didn't like the previous font so we changed it to this one, and both agreed this suited it well.

Step 5: For this part we decided we didn't want it to just be a cake because it didn't explain stuff very well. So we chose to have a slice of cheese in front of the cake so you think 'Cheesecake'.

Step 6: We then added colour to the cheese because there isn't much colour.

Step 7: Then we added some bold black lines to help make it look more defined.

Step 8: For this step, we changed quite a lot. There was no point in having the full title when the picture is pretty self explanatory so we simply added the word 'Cheese' onto the cheese and the word 'Cake' onto the cake, making the writing large and clear. Then we coloured in the cake as there was not much colour to it at all. This took quite a while but was worth it and we was happy with the way it looked.

Step 9: This is it with the added words.

Step 10: Then we decided to mess around with it a bit more, seeing if we could make it more versatile. But we both agreed it was better before and changed it back.
